Wow! If you’re traveling from out of town, you definitely need to eat here and have the house potatoes!! yes it is a big portion. Don’t complain about the price. Just take it to go!! From from Phoenix. We loved it, and I would go back and definitely eat there again.!!!!
Visiting from the UK and this was high up on my list, it didn’t disappoint. Fresh, tasty food. Great atmosphere. Caring and attentive staff. Multiple areas to sit. Lovely friendly vibe all round. Highly recommended.
This is our favorite place to eat breakfast in the south bay.. they have excellent staff/service, large portions of delicious food at reasonable prices. The coffee is top notch, and there is something on the menu for everyone. I prefer the Joe's Special but we have tried everything and you can't go wrong up and down the menu. They also offer lunch which everyone says is awesome too but even when I go at lunch time I still get breakfast. The ham steak they give you is the size of a compact car, and their pancakes are a huge hit. They have a parking lot in the back which can fill up a lot so you can find street parking nearby. When its busy you can get make some new friends and everyone here is always nice and friendly. This place is Redondo Beach.
Stopped for breakfast after touching down at LAX. Griselda was our fantastic server. We both had omelets. My wife had the veggie, and I had the chili cheese. The food was good and tasty. The ambiance was positive, and all of the staff were friendly and professional. Highly recommended.
I've eaten at Joe's for years. Whenever visit LA I try to stop down. The decor has changed over the years but the food has remained a solid consent whilst my husband is a fan of the "Mad Dog". Whilst I'm more of a pancakes girl. But what ever you choose it's a great breakfast!
This is a great place to have a hearty breakfast. Egg dishes and french toast/pancakes are all delicious. Our group grew five from of us to 9 and they were wonderful in accommodating our growing party. Our waitress was terrific. It's a very iconic place for breakfast in the Redondo Beach area. Several locals recommended it to us and we are glad we went.

This place is nostalgic for me. I've been eating here since the 80s. The food is always perfect. Here are my favorites: Chicken Fried Steak, biscuits and gravy, turkey and avocado sandwich, Joe's Special. Honestly have not had anything that was not delicious. The staff is great some of which have been working there for over 30 years. The prices are pretty reasonable too. The coffee is always just right and they will even give you a to-go cup.
When I want to dine with my fur baby, I come to Joe's and we share a meal on the patio. I usually get the Gobbler Scramble with sweet potato. I eat the eggs and toast and she gets the turkey scrambled with spinach and sweet potato. I also love that I can get breakfast all day. We walk from our house so it's perfect. The staff is always so kind. I suggest bringing your own bowls for water and food as you will be given aluminum to go containers for your pet's meal... For sanitation purposes. 😊
